ESPAÑOL: El reto de este mes, patrocinado por mi prima Juana, fue hacerme unas uñas Kandinski... Y qué reto fue!
Kandinski fue un importante pintor ruso que a comienzos del siglo XX se convirtió en uno de los precursores del arte abstracto.
Primero que todo, cómo decidir qué pintura recrear? La verdad es que aún no sé si la pintura en la que me inspiré realmente de Kandinski, o fue una obra inspirada por él, sin embargo la escogí por las formas y los colores vibrantes, y me encantó la idea de tenerlos en mis uñas.
Fue así como recluté a todas mis pinturas acrílicas, en el computador corté segmentos de la pintura para definir qué iba en cada uña, e hice un bosquejo con pintura acrílica blanca, sobre mis uñas que solo tenían una capa de Blanco Armiño de Vogue Cosmetics.
Creo que lo más difícil ha sido combinar los colores de forma tal que se acerquen a los colores de la pintura, y bueno, hacer las líneas porque no he empleado guías ni stickers para hacerlo, así que necesité de un pulso muy tranquilo.
Al final me ha gustado el resultado que obtuve, y espero haber dado una buena representación a este artista del color.

ENGLISH: This month's challenge was again sponsored by my cousin Juana: Kandinsky Nails, and oh boy, what a challenge it was!
Kandinsky was an important russian artist in the early twentieth century, and became one of the pioneers of abstract art.
First of all, how to choose one of his paintings? Actually I'm not even sure the painting I chose was his, or was one inspired by him, however I chose it because of the forms and vibrant colors, and I loved the idea of this colourful manicure.
Then I recruited all of my acrylic paints, used the pc to cut pieces of the painting to paint in each nail, and made an outline in white acrylic paint with the shapes.
I think the difficult part has been to aproach to those colors in the painting, and also to do the lines because I haven't used any stickers or guides, so I needed to be really quiet.
At the end I really liked the result, and I just hope to have made a good representation of this colorful artist.
