Tierradentro Tribal Nails

ESPAÑOL: En un reto de los que circulan por Instagram, el que planteaban para el día de hoy consistía en uñas neón con arte tribal. Nunca lo había hecho, y la verdad no me llamaba mucho la atención, hasta que comencé a indagar sobre el tema tribal.

Al final me terminé animando y resolví hacer algo "tribal", pero que no fuera "trivial", así que recordé las formas geométricas que reposan en las urnas funerarias de Tierradentro, en el Departamento del Cauca, Colombia.

Y a pesar de que el neón en nada representa las figuras, me gustó la idea de hacer el contraste del blanco y negro, con fucsia, y así lo hice.

Al principio me daba un poco de temor hacer las líneas con el esmalte Fantasía, de la colección de Neón de Vogue Fantastic, ya que me acostumbré a hacer los detalles con pintura acrílica, pero al final no resultó tan difícil, porque usé el pincel directamente desde el envase, en lugar de derramar un poco del esmalte sobre una superficie.

Creo que siempre vale la pena resaltar nuestros orígenes, y honrar a aquellos que nos precedieron sin la posibilidad de saber más de ellos.

ENGLISH: Today's challenge from an account of Instagram, was to neon tribal nails. I had never done this, and I wasn't very interested about it, until I began to investigate the tribal theme.

After that, I ended up cheering and decided to do something, "tribal", but that was not "trivial", and I reminded the geometric shapes that are painted in the funeral urns of Tierradentro, in the department of Cauca, Colombia.

And although nothing is neon figures, I liked the idea of making the contrast of black, white, fuchsia, and I did.

At first I was a little afraid to make lines with the nail polish, because I got used to make the details with acrylic paint, but in the end was not so difficult, because I used the brush directly from the container, instead of spilling some polish on a surface.

I think it's always worth to homage our origins, and honor those who came before us without the ability to know more about them.
